NOTHING SERIOUS is for every person who has ever been told “i like you” by someone…only to have them take it back a week or two later.  yep, i understand.  which is why i wrote NOTHING SERIOUS!

i’ve been busy writing and recording these last few weeks.  i just finished vocals on a great new song called YOU’RE GETTIN’ LUCKY TONIGHT! it’s getting mixed right now.  i’m getting ready to head back into the stdio to record vocals on a ballad called SOMEWHERE NOT HERE.

right now i’m writing a happy fun song that i think will be called THE HEY, HEY SONG!  it makes me smile to even write it.  another uptempo i’m working on is called I DON’T LIKE YOU.  don’t get the wrong idea…everything the girl is saying she doesn’t like about a certain guy…she, of course, likes.

i just heard the mix for my new song, I’M MORE TRASH THAN WHITE! it’s so much fun… and a little bit dirty. {sorry daddy!} the most amazing musicians helped make it awesome. brandon and matt, as always. AND this time a HUGE THANK YOU to paul on banjo and chris on fiddle! THEY ROCKED!

i’m recording the next two tunes over the next few weeks. today i’m in the studio recording the ballad SHOULDA BEEN YOU. in july…recording NOTHING SERIOUS. nothing serious has an amazing bluegrass vibe.
