i know, it’s not official yet, but it sure feels like summer in nashville!!!

lost of updates! what an incredible and busy few weeks!!

first, the most fun was seeing my sister, nieces and brother in law in pennsylvania last week! i also was able to see one of my best friends get married last saturday! congrats shannon and mark! wahoo!!!

i’ve been busy writing so many great new songs! i can’t wait to share them all with you!!! i’m in the studio now recording the guitar and vocals on them…but you can hear some now by going to the video page! i’ll be doing new songs live and recording whenever i can. here’s a new one from last night called “i was leaving anyway.” let me know what you think!

i’m performing a bunch this week…tomo night at a great venue here in nashville and on saturday, i am opening up at a huge biker rally in bowling green, kentucky! i’m so excited about that! i’ve been told it’s already sold out at 8500! i’ll certainly try to get pics and video from that!!

i’m saying y’all with ease….i’m HOME in nashville! loving it here, loving the people and loving what i get to do every single moment of every single day! i’ve been so busy and never been happier!

i had my first official gig in nashville last night! it was at this awesome place called belcourt taps and tapas. i had the amazing steve c on guitar {yep. THAT steve c!} and asked a new friend of mine, the talented leo castro to join me as well! we had a blast! many thanks to my new nashville friends who came out to support me! and another big thanks to those of you who surprised me!!!

i’ve been so blessed working with some amazing co-writers! there are some great new songs i’ll be recording soon…hopefully really soon!! this new one, “JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF WRONG,” was only written on tuesday. the second i finished writing with my co-writer, bob stewart, i KNEW i had to sing it at my first show! you can see the video here or on facebook!

nashville is SO AWESOME! i am loving the people and i am loving the town! i’m so happy every single day when i wake up. and i am SO grateful for my gut telling me to move!

i’ve met the most incredible people who i’m so blessed to not only know, but to work with! amazingly talented songwriters, producers, and execs who have all been so helpful. i’ve also met so many new friends and as much as i miss my L.A. friends, it’s really wonderful to know i’ve got some new ones here that make me feel welcome and loved!

i just finished co-writing my first song here in nashville! i was honored to work with the multi-talented stevie c, who is known around town as THE guitar player to work with! he’s also a gifted songwriter as well. our first song {i hope of many!} is called “every moment” and can be seen under the video section on my website.

i also sang a demo for two great songwriters! they’ve written an awesome new pop/country song and i was beyond honored and excited to be a part of their project!

it snowed again in nashville! it looks like a winter wonderland outside. however, this time i was smart and left my truck at the bottom of my steep driveway!

i know it’s been a long time since i’ve given an update and i’m sorry!

A BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!

this new year has already brought UNBELIEVABLE CHANGES to my life! like…i moved to nashville, tn! it was a big decision but one that i made quickly. december was crazy with packing up and saying a lot of goodbyes. that was far from fun. but i’m so happy, excited and downright THRILLED to be here!

just posted a new video of one of my favorite songs, How Great Thou Art. i was blessed to sing at the SOM spiritual center for almost three years. this is my last performance there.

i promise to bring more updates soon!

my tv movie, THE NANNY EXPRESS, airs two times tomorrow, sunday, november 7th {also my mom’s birthday! happy birthday, mommy!!!} it’ll be on hallmark so check local listings for viewing times!

what an exciting week this has been!! i got a last minute call from the LA clippers and their scheduled group backed out from singing the national anthem on halloween! first of all, who does that!? and second of all, THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU ARE! i had the greatest time and the clippers were awesome! love me my staples center! many thanks for the great seats they gave me!!! we played the dallas mavericks and sadly, yes, we lost. but i like dallas and mark cuban, and i LOVE singing the anthem, so it’s all kinda a win-win for me!!

on wednesday night i headed to the honda center to sing the anthem again, this time for the anaheim ducks! this was my 3rd time back there and the folks at the ducks are amazing! ok, and the honda center also wins for the best damn hot pretzel too.
