what an incredible weekend!

IF I SAID HOWDY TO YOU was used this weekend on the red carpet during red carpet show at the AMA’s!  it was truly amazing.  i talked to so many great people and one interviewer even had me SING HOWDY on the red carpet during the interview!

it’s been an exciting two days for my little song that could! yesterday it premiered on www.NBRN.FM in the morning and with the overwhelming response they received, they played it again in the afternoon!

i’ve just gotten word now that another internet radio station has added IF I SAID HOWDY TO YOU to their playlist too!

KWBC radio has added me to their playlist too! they’re an internet radio station with over 50,000 listeners and they air in 136 countries! they are playing my song in the afternoon show with DJ Buzz. i don’t know what time in the show he’ll be playing HOWDY but if you want to listen in for an hour or two, info is below.

i’ll ask that no one requests beforehand, since he’s already playing it. however! if you like the song and want to tell old buzz to keep playing it, that would be wonderful!!! his show starts at 4:00pm CST (2:00pm PST and 5:00pm EST) the toll free number and request email is below.

a very big HOWDY to my first radio station rotation. we’ve already heard from a few others as well that HOWDY is in the process of being added to their rotations but NBRN {nashville broadcasting radio network} thought the song was GREAT and they’re adding it TODAY to their rotation!

while i was writing this….MY SONG JUST PLAYED!!!!!!!!! WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! wow! WOW!!

hey everybody! once again, my bad for the length it’s been since my last update!

thanks to all who have written about the recently aired tv movies.  appreciate the congrats and nice thoughts!  there aren’t many moments where three tv movies air in ONE day!  craziness.  if you happened to miss the premiere of ALWAYS AND FOREVER please check local listings as hallmark channel does re-air.

i happen to be in this week’s STAR mag!  and no, i did not “rock the dress.”  but you know what?  neither did gwenyth paltrow or anna paquin so i truly don’t feel so bad!  :O)

NOW!  NEW NEWS!  MUSIC NEWS! i’ve been busy in the studio working on my country music!  FINALLY!!  i can now tell you the first single is AMAZING!  i’m thrilled with it and SOOOO EXCITED to share it!  right now i’m waiting for the song to be sent over.  my producer is busy mixing the track and i’m (not so patiently) waiting to hear it.

the details: the single is called “IF I SAID HOWDY TO YOU!”  i wrote the lyrics and had an idea for the song.  i’m blessed to be working with an amazing producer and songwriter, the very talented brandon jarrett, with moho productions.  brandon is also an incredible singer/performer… i hope “HOWDY” brings a smile to your face!  the very cool news…we’re hoping to have it available on iTunes sometime in december…january ‘10 at the latest.  as soon as i get word it’s avail, i’ll be screaming from the rooftops.
